By checking the box I solemnly undertake that this article has not been published in same or similar form elsewhere and that all work is original and where applicable ALL scholarly references have been acknowledged. I also agree that this article may be referred to another Chief Editor in our group if better suited to that journal. I also declare that the article has been checked by independent sources or software to ensure :-

  1. no areas of possible plagiarism exist – if in doubt quote the original source(s)
  2. that the article attached is an ORIGINAL article that has not been published in the Iranian EFL Journal or other academic journal
  3. That all co-authors have read this undertaking and that you as the submitting author take full responsibility for the article’s content
  4. that I understand the Iranian EFL Journal editorial board will not respond to any queries until articles that pass (a) and (b) have been decided

NB. Articles that fail our independent test of (a) and SAE review of (b) will result in no further communication with the author.

Yes, I have read and understood the notice below:
Once your article has been received you will receive an automated reply with a tracking number that is used by editorial members. Your paper will go into review which can take 5-8 weeks for preliminary reviews. Do not contact us unless you receive no updates after 8 weeks. We do not respond Ito inquiries during this period. During the review period we will liaise with other journals and authors who have been found to have sent the same article to other journals will have their article immediately rejected and name placed online. Sending the same articles to multiple journals ignores both the undertaking you have given to the journal and wastes the time of countless hours of effort by all journals. We note a growing trend across journal organizations for authors to 'pull their articles' once the editors have guided you to a publishable article. Those who do his will be blacklisted in the public academic journals black listing.

Publication Ethics
Submission of previously published papers or papers under review at different journals is strictly forbidden. Only original papers should be submitted. Authors must make sure that their submissions do not contain plagiarism or self-plagiarism. Papers that contain any form of plagiarism will be rejected without reviews.
